AG3 equivalent battery

Introduction:

The AG prefix stands for the alkaline chemistry of the battery. It is 7.9mm in diameter and 3.6mm in height. Nominal voltage is 1.5 volts. Typical capacity is 35 mAh.

Due to their chemistry, they are equipped with small openings through which air can enter. There are special stickers that cover these holes to prevent the cells from activating during storage. Only remove it when installing the battery.

Equivalent battery
some companies use other names that can be interchanged with AG3 batteries. Common nicknames: SG3, LR41, LR736, SR736 are common compatible batteries.

You can replace the AG3 alkaline battery with a silver oxide chemical button cell if you need a replacement that provides longer life. The output per unit size is higher than that of alkaline batteries, and the energy density is 500 Wh/L, twice that of alkaline batteries.

Silver oxide batteries also provide stable operating voltages. This means longer life as the voltage only drops when the battery dies. Batteries are also more leak resistant than alkaline batteries. A leak-proof seal prevents electrolyte from leaking out and damaging your device. This is common with alkaline batteries. The table below shows common silver oxide batteries with similar dimensions and voltage profiles that replace AG3.

Lithium battery instead of AG3

Lithium coin batteries typically have an operating voltage of 3V, twice that of AG3 batteries. As such, it is generally not recommended as a replacement for AG3. Using a higher voltage cell in a device designed to operate at 1.5 volts will damage the device. However, in some cases, it may be possible to replace two AG3 batteries with one lithium battery. Read the manufacturer’s requirements and consult an expert before doing so.
Longer life:
Energizer and Duracell use the 192, 384, or 392 names. For electronics that require longer life, replace with silver oxide batteries instead of using the alkaline version. The AG3 and SR736 are such batteries using silver oxide chemistry with a standard capacity of 45mAh. Higher capacity equates to approximately 29% longer service life.

Key Features:

AG3 batteries are alkaline non-rechargeable batteries. AG3 batteries are ideal for laser pointers, watches, calculators, cameras, alarm transmitters, blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, and more.

These alkaline button cells are known for their reliability and high performance. The AG3 battery is an alkaline coin cell with a nominal voltage of 1.5V.

Tested under strict quality control standards. CE and ROHS certified. Class A LR41 cells ensure long battery life and long-lasting performance.

There are two cards in this listing, each containing 10 AG3/LR41 batteries, and a total of 20 AG13 batteries in this listing. Other model names for current batteries are 192/ 384/ 392/ 392A/ AG3/ CX41/ G3/ LR41/ L736/ LR736/ SR41/ SR41SW/ SR41W/ V3GA. Voltage: 1.55V Dimensions: 7.9mm/0.31in This LR41/AG3 battery provides excellent high energy and sustained voltage delivery.

Popular in watches, calculators, games, car keys, toys, children’s books, medical devices, laser pointers and many other small electronic devices Eco-Friendly: Free of mercury, lead and polluting ingredients.

Purpose of Use:
